Just for my last reanding and writing class

Today we finished our last reading and writing class. It's not easy to say good bye to you, and I truthfully want to have a chance to say see you tomorrow. Guys, thank you for this during we had spent together, and hope to meet again in the future. And here I recommend a Chinese traditional song for this moment, whose name is Graduation.

Wham! - Last Christmas

Here I want to introduce a very famous song to you that is Last Charismas. This song was written and performed by British pop duo Wham!. The band consists of two-gifted musician, George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. This song is talk about a single person’s feeling during Charismas, whose love given to his lover, and it had been easily discarded by her, but he didn’t give up simply. What he wanted to do is to give more love to her.

This song has a very gentle beat, and a little sad lyric. I’m totally in it. And now it is a necessary part for people’s Charismas Day Party.

Just for Memories

Today is the seventh anniversary for a Sad accident I witnessed, here I want to say something for the guys who lost their best property in that accident.

July of 2008, my company was awarded a middle project of Provision of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Service for One Oil Gathering Plant at Canar. The specific location of it is in the Diffra City of South Corduofan Province, Sudan. That time I was a planning engineer who normally should stay at jobsite to monitor and report the project execution progress to Owner and other related partner. The problem was that the security of this area was very serious because some local tribes disagreed the development action for the Oil and Natural Gas by the consortium of the central government and some oil companies. Therefore, we often got warning note from local residents, and certainly we had to put more attention on our site team. Our target is that ensure all team members can peacefully go back their home, however, things didn’t turn out as we expected they would.

One morning, a pipeline construction team which included nine persons moved outside the basic camp to a mid valve station to install the removed control valves. When they were doing their job, a gang of masked and armed men kidnaped them. The information of kidnapping approached the management team very soon, and up to lunchtime my company’s top management knew it and immediately send a specialist team to the project jobsite. After gathering and analyzing all kinds information from different resources, the specialist team gave their advice to pay the ransom money to rescue the kidnapped persons. Very soon the project manager received the approval for this advice from the top management.

However, when we were preparing the payment to the kidnapers, one company of central government’s military happened to past by the kidnapers’ stronghold. The kidnapers thought that the military possibly had known their place and taken rescue action, therefore, they gave up any ransom and decided to kill all kidnapped persons. Then, the tragedy happened, and finally five persons lose their lives, and other persons successfully escaped from the kidnapers’ hand.  

Now five years past, I hope the guys happy in their world!!!
